I'm going to post two weeks on Focus on Life this time round, as I missed last week's post....so here's
"Hope"
Sally's prompt:
"If you feel you know what you want to get out of life, and you have the desire to make that happen, then you have hope"~Jennifer Cheavens
I think this has been the longest NON-Spring in history....I had almost given up on it ever happening this year....but I think we might be there! My next door neighbour's cherry tree, which only two-three weeks ago, was encased in ice. I thought it was done for.....but it had Hope!
and this week's subject is....
Look Up!
Sally's prompt:
"This week let's change our perspective and look up! There is a whole world above us that we sometimes miss seeing because we simply forget to look up."
Here is what I found when I looked up last night! It played a little game of hide and seek with me, but I caught it at last...
Be sure and visit the rest of my friends to see what they noticed, looking up...you'll find them HERE
oh! who doesn't love a great moon shot! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time in NC. Really like your moon shot.
ReplyDeleteCould it be we had no noon here? I kept looking for it... Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful moon shot. I can never get good ones.
ReplyDeleteOh - such an awesome shot of the moon,...those are hard to capture! And just look at those gorgeous trees! You look like you had a ball in NC!!
ReplyDeleteNice moon Lori! There's something about moon pics that feel so mysterious. Maybe because there's so much more we can't see :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Spring has come to Canada at last!
wonderful photos, as always!! I also have some cherry blossom :)
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend :)
Lori it looks like you had a great vacation. Your moon shot is wonderful. I thought of clouds but not the moon. Good job.
ReplyDeleteSpring is barely happening here (wisconsin), blooming trees are a month behind. The cherry tree is awesome!
ReplyDeleteIsn't NC beautiful. I live up there for a while, closer to the coast. But we would sometimes take road trips. The mountains....God's gift to us! So majestic. And your moon, how cool is that?! Love it. Great post. And yes I agree....spring sure took it's SWEET time getting here, even in Florida!
ReplyDeleteI love North Carolina and I would love to be able to move to Asheville! It looks like you had a blast. Love your moon shot!
ReplyDeleteLove North Carolina, great photos, love the moon.
ReplyDeleteHehe, we both got the moon! You captured it during night, I got it during the day :)
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures - the cherry blossoms are gorgeous, and full of hope!
I love NC too. Who wouldn't? Great moon shot - those are hard to get. Glad your Spring has sprung.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures for both prompts Lori. Aren't cherry blossoms just the best? I love seeing the moon on a clear night but seldom can I take a good picture. You got a great one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful moon!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I love the shot of the moon! Gorgeous, and what a great way to enjoy the evening.
ReplyDeleteNice moon shot! I noticed the moon myself as I was looking up this week.
ReplyDeleteWow, perfect shot of the moon, love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the moon,
ReplyDeleteYou all look so happy! Love that shot. Your moon rocks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea - a double post to catch up. At this point, I just jump in when I can - no way to catch up now! :-) Looks like you had a great time in NC!! What beautiful photos, both the cherry blossoms and the mysterious moon. I'm so glad that Spring is finally here!
ReplyDeleteI'm enthralled by the shot of the moon and a little envious. I've tried to capture shots of the moon but they never come out!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of the cherry blossoms!
