Focus on Life Week 18~Abstract

Well, today was eye doc day....a clean bill of health, which is awesome (I was a bit worried this time); but it does mean spending the entire day indoors as my eyes are HUGEly dilated. 


OW. 

So....I spent my day off playing with pictures for our Focus on Life this week. Here's Sally's description:

"All things have form, colour and lines; we just need to step back and step away from the literal image you see through the lens. Take into account the lines, colour or form and look for a more figurative composition. <clip> Take this week and step out of reality and change your view of things!"

I took no new pictures this week...but I have used pictures that were taken for our project, but not yet used on the blog...and I had my way with them!

I cropped, I rotated, I HDR'd, I Cinerama'd, I bokeh'd, I spotlighted....I had fun!

    THe eye picture was new and fits the prompt as well as anything I posted! I do like your tree picture... looks like black lightning!

    I had a similar eye exam last Friday (never thought to take a pic!) and I too got the all-clear for another year :) great photos - thank you for showing the original image, it's so interesting to see how you changed them :)

    FANTASTIC photos!!! My favorite is the first one. I've seen several bloggers in this challenge that use picmonkey and I'm going to have to try it too. It looks like fun, and I want to 'bokeh' too!!!!

    Superb Abstracts here!! These are just great - love them all. It's cool how you showed the before shots, too - lets you really see how 'abstract' things can become.

    Those are wonderful photos. I *adore* the tree one. The effect you achieved is stunning. I kept trying to turn my ipad upside down to see the photo the other way, lol.

    I never would have guessed that was a shell! And the tree photo is fascinating. I like how you really stepped out of the box and flipped it up-side-down.

    Wow. Great pics! I love the haunting quality of the trees inverted and I never would have guessed that red one was a seashell! Enjoy the day. Erin
