Focus on Life~Week 11

"The Possibilities are Endless" Sally says....and, indeed, I had SO many ideas for this week's prompt running through my brain.

Here's her clarification of this week's prompt:

"This week pay attention to your surroundings and your daily activities and show us what holds endless possibilities for you."

After a day or two of thought....I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to photograph. I had a day off midweek, and although it was foggy and lightly snowing, I didn't let it impede my progress toward my goal. I hit the highway, drove the thirty-some odd miles, pulled into my favorite parking spot, and jumped out of the car.

I responded to the friendly greetings, picked up my basket and got down to business. I was only there for 45 minutes, but it was an extremely productive visit; I found everything I was looking for and then some...and they had a sale on!!

Time to hit the road...still snowing, but not too slippery...and I had an uneventful although slow trip home. It wasn't until I pulled into my driveway that I realized....I FORGOT TO TAKE THE PHOTOGRAPH!!

So..here is some thievery from That Bead Lady's own site to show you what I was going to take the picture of This seed bead wall is my inspiration!! In fact, it's probably my inspiration way too often, as they know me by name....

But, so I'm not cheating TOO badly....here are my other two daily inspirations for endless possibilities:

My lovely colour wheel, which lives on the wall above my beading table:

And, of COURSE....this.....:

Be sure you check out what possibilities our other participants found HERE

  11. hahaha I'm sorry Lori, I laughed so loud reading that you forgot. I can just imagine you there. Clearly that picture is in your mind's eye so an actual photograph must have seemed redundant. I remember buying from her in my early days of online shopping... when she took Visa and I only had MC, must have been 10 years ago or more. Fun to see the shop itself. Your colour wheel is gorgeous too!

  12. That sounds like something I would do....forget the photo I mean. I would also drive that far to visit a great store, especially one that is full of seed beads and color. I have been known to spend more than 45 minutes though. It's tough to leave a bead store or an art supplies shop. Color wheels are terrific - I just purchased one again this week. They make choices so much easier!

  13. OMGosh! I think I would faint if I ever got anywhere near a store that had such a wonderful selection!!! I'm in love with your colour wheel & studiously trying to ignore your Pinterest as I am meant to be out in the garden...not surfing (& inevitably getting stuck on) Pinterest for hours ;)
Great post & a wonderful use of this weeks prompt!
